The short version
Welcome to Lilo. Lilo is a place to keep and share lists of the things you use, recommend, want, or love. By creating a page, following someone, or simply browsing, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use Lilo.
We’ve tried to keep this readable. It isn’t legal advice, and it doesn’t replace your own judgment — but it’s the honest deal between you and us.
Who can use Lilo
You need to be at least 13 years old to use Lilo, and old enough to form a binding agreement where you live. When you sign up, please give accurate information and keep it up to date. If you’re using Lilo for an organization, you’re telling us you’re allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.
Your account
Your account is yours to look after. Keep your password private, and let us know promptly if you think someone else has gotten into your account. You’re responsible for what happens under your account, so choose a strong password and sign out on shared devices.
The lists and things you add
Everything you create on Lilo — your lists, the things you add, your notes and your page — stays yours. We don’t claim to own it.
To actually run Lilo, you give us permission to host, display, and share what you post with the people you’ve chosen to share it with, and to show previews of the things you link to. You’re telling us that you have the right to share what you post, and that it doesn’t break the law or someone else’s rights.
Links to other places
Lilo points outward. The things on your lists usually link to shops, products, and pages run by other people and companies. We don’t run those places and we can’t vouch for them — prices, availability, and details change, and what you find there is between you and them.
Some links may earn Lilo or a creator a small commission. That never changes the price you pay, and it never decides what a creator chooses to recommend.
Being a good neighbor
Please use Lilo kindly and honestly. Don’t use it to:
- break the law or encourage others to;
- post hateful, harassing, deceptive, or harmful content, or anything that isn’t yours to share;
- impersonate someone else or pretend a list is something it isn’t;
- spam, scrape, overload, or try to break the way Lilo works for everyone else.
If something crosses a line, we may remove it to keep Lilo a place worth trusting.
What belongs to Lilo
The Lilo name, look, wordmark, and the software behind it belong to us. Using Lilo doesn’t give you the right to copy or reuse those parts. Your content is yours; the app around it is ours.
Your privacy
We only collect what we need to run Lilo and make it good — things like your account details and the lists you build. We don’t sell your personal information. If you’d like to know what we hold or want it removed, just get in touch using the details below.
Lilo is offered “as is”
We work hard to keep Lilo running and pleasant to use, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or exactly what you hoped. Lilo is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limits of responsibility
To the extent the law allows, Lilo and the people behind it aren’t responsible for indirect or unexpected losses that come from using — or not being able to use — the service, or from anything you find through a link on Lilo. Some places don’t allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.
Pausing or ending things
You can stop using Lilo and delete your page at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other people at risk. Some parts of these terms — like ownership and the limits above — naturally continue after an account ends.
Changes to these terms
Lilo will grow, and these terms may change with it. When they do, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll try to let you know. Continuing to use Lilo after a change means you accept the new terms.
